Description
Riverside Transit Agency is soliciting bids for monthly street sweeping and preventative maintenance at the Corona Transit Center and Vine Street Mobility Hub. The contractor must furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, vehicles, fuel, materials, transportation, disposal services, and incidentals needed to sweep roadway surfaces, drive aisles, bus circulation areas, roundabouts, curbs, gutters, medians, concrete islands, and other designated paved areas. Services include removing and properly disposing of dirt, sand, sediment, litter, leaves, glass, gravel, and other debris, and reporting unsafe conditions, spills, vandalism, or property damage. The contract is firm-fixed-price, with a three-year base term and two one-year option terms. This is a prevailing-wage public works project; the contractor and subcontractors must maintain active California Department of Industrial Relations registration at bid submission. Bids must include the completed Exhibit B Bid Schedule and Exhibit C Required Forms and must be submitted electronically through PlanetBids. A 100% payment bond is required from the successful bidder before work begins, and the contract includes specified insurance requirements, including commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers’ compensation, and employer’s liability coverage.
