Description
The City of Santa Fe is soliciting proposals for a pre-event, standby disaster debris removal and recovery contract. The selected contractor will provide year-round readiness and, upon activation, emergency roadway clearance; collection, hauling, processing, recycling, and disposal of vegetative, construction and demolition, white goods, electronic, household hazardous, waterway, and other eligible disaster debris; hazardous stump, leaner, and hanger removal; debris management site development and operations; site restoration; and authorized demolition or vehicle or vessel removal. The contractor must furnish management, labor, equipment, transportation, documentation, safety and environmental controls, and FEMA-compliant reimbursement and audit support. The proposal must address qualifications, comparable governmental experience, project management, mobilization and response times, equipment and subcontractor resources, operations and quality-control plans, references, financial and bonding capacity, pricing, required compliance certifications, and exceptions. The contract term is two years beginning on or about January 1, 2027, with two optional one-year renewals; no minimum quantity of work is guaranteed.
