Description
The California Department of Transportation is soliciting a contractor to provide scheduled and on-call trash collection, hauling, and lawful disposal services at the Camarillo Maintenance Station. The scope includes furnishing two 40-cubic-yard roll-off bins and two 10-cubic-yard low-boy roll-off bins, along with all labor, equipment, travel, disposal fees, taxes, covered containers, pickup tickets, and disposal receipts. Scheduled pickups are generally on weekdays, with on-call pickups required within 24 hours of notification. The bidder must possess a valid California Department of Motor Vehicles Motor Carrier Permit at bid submission and throughout performance. Subcontracting is prohibited. The agreement is estimated to run from December 1, 2026, through November 30, 2029, subject to approval and notice to proceed. The bid package must include the bid proposal, certification sheet, current Motor Carrier Permit, California Civil Rights Laws Certification, and Darfur Contracting Act Certification. Small Business/Microbusiness preference and a DVBE incentive are available, but DVBE participation is not required.
