Description
The Central Florida Tourism Oversight District is soliciting a contractor to provide all labor, supervision, equipment, vehicles, materials, tools, transportation, and other resources required for roadway litter collection, debris removal, roadway and public-area cleaning, trash receptacle servicing, cigarette-butt removal, and related services across 19 designated service areas totaling approximately 40 linear miles. Services generally must be performed seven days per week, 365 days per year, from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., with specified sweep and patrol schedules by area. The contractor must provide at least two vehicles plus one backup vehicle, GPS tracking, weekly route-completion reports, debris-disposal documentation, qualified staffing, FDOT Temporary Traffic Control certifications, and emergency response within one hour. Subcontracting is prohibited. The initial contract term is three years with an optional two-year renewal. The solicitation requires at least three relevant project references completed within the last five years, an emergency response capability form, bidder checklist, affidavits, and applicable preference forms. Required insurance includes commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers’ compensation and employer’s liability, and umbrella liability, generally with $1,000,000 minimum limits. Bids are awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder and must be submitted electronically through PlanetBids.
