Description
The Virginia Department of Energy, through its Division of Mineral Mining, is soliciting bids for reclamation of the DWH, LLC P.N. 90505AA Bond Forfeiture site. The work includes mobilization, access-road site preparation, removal and disposal of two tree-debris piles, removal and disposal of a storage trailer and site signage, special lime treatment of approximately 2.37 acres, revegetation of approximately nine acres, cleanup, and repair of damage. The contractor must furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, permits, and incidentals. The work must be completed within 45 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. A mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit are required, and bids must be submitted electronically through eVA.virginia.gov. The solicitation requires a bid bond of five percent of the bid amount, with a bid bond required for bids of $100,000 or more, and successful bidders must provide performance and labor-and-material payment bonds, each in the full contract amount.
