The School Board of the City of Virginia Beach, operating as Virginia Beach City Public Schools, is seeking two Category One internet access and data transmission services with capacities ranging from 10 Gbps to 25 Gbps. The scope includes installation and initial configuration for service to 91 eligible entities. The sample contract provides for an initial term from July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2028, with four additional one-year renewal options by mutual agreement. Pricing must remain firm during the initial and renewal periods, and the contractor must comply with applicable E-Rate pricing requirements. The contract also requires specified insurance coverage, including general liability, automobile liability, umbrella/excess liability, and workers’ compensation insurance.
