Description
The General Services Administration, through the Office of Centralized Acquisition Services, is seeking trailer-mounted 400-amp diesel engine-driven welders to replace legacy 300-amp systems used by expeditionary forces. The equipment must provide mobile welding capability in austere environments without shore power, be towable by organic assets, and be transportable by air and surface across standard Department of Defense platforms. The welders must operate on NATO fuels, perform reliably in all climates, and support Civil Engineer Support Equipment repair and general construction tasks. The solicitation identifies a specification sheet and a bill-of-materials price sheet as controlled attachments; access requires sign-in.
