Description
The City of Cedar Rapids is soliciting a contractor to furnish and install card-access systems at 16 designated doors across Veterans Memorial Stadium and The Annex, including locks, strikes, hardware, access-control cards, licenses, and wireless equipment. The work also includes burglary and alarm system installation at designated stadium entrances, motion sensors in specified areas, and a phone application for managing the alarm and access-control systems. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, licenses, testing instruments, cleanup, and related work. Bidders must provide annual pricing for 24/7 burglar-alarm monitoring. The solicitation requires insurance coverage and endorsements, payment and performance bonds after award, and prohibits subcontracting or assignment without the City's prior written consent.
