West Virginia University (WVU) is seeking qualified contractors to renovate and upgrade the B66 Lab located in the basement of the Engineering Sciences Building (ESB) on the Evansdale Campus in Morgantown, WV. The project involves approximately 500 square feet of interior space and includes renovations to the existing HVAC system to provide adequate cooling for a new FIB SEM microscope being installed by Engineering Sciences. Work includes demolition and rework of existing ductwork, installation of a new cassette-style ductless split system unit and condenser, electrical and exhaust rework, a 4-inch concrete condensing pad, power and data demo and rework, plumbing and drain rework, undercabinet lighting, new LED lighting and controls, ceiling grid rework, new diffusers and returns, and repainting of the lab. The contractor must provide all materials, labor, tools, and equipment. The project is scheduled for completion during the Fall 2026 semester, with substantial completion by November 20, 2026, and final completion by December 4, 2026.
