Description
The National Park Service is requesting a firm-fixed-price quotation for monthly maintenance and annual inspections, repairs, and related state inspection coordination for two hydraulic passenger elevators: one at Fort Necessity National Battlefield and one at Friendship Hill National Historic Site. The contractor must provide all labor, transportation, materials, supplies, supervision, maintenance scheduling, state fees, annual certificate inspection fees, and repair services. The Fort Necessity elevator is a Schindler 330A passenger/hydraulic elevator with two stops; the Friendship Hill elevator is identified as model Micro F1 187 with four stops. The qualified elevator inspector must hold current certification under NAESA and ASME Q.E.I. standards. The contract includes a base period and four one-year option periods. Work includes operational checks, lubrication, cleaning, adjustment, safety and door-system inspections, emergency-phone and alarm maintenance, hydraulic-component checks, replacement of necessary parts, written service and inspection reports, computerized inspection records, and follow-up reports for state inspections. The contractor must provide a Pennsylvania-licensed mechanic, required licenses and certifications, equipment information, a technical approach, three similar projects from the past five years, biobased-product certification, specified responsibility and compliance certifications, and a price proposal. The award will use a lowest-price-technically-acceptable evaluation process, and the solicitation is a total small-business set-aside.
