Description
The State of West Virginia is soliciting bids for a one-time purchase of one new electric turret-style forklift for the West Virginia Geological and Economic Survey. The forklift must have a minimum 2,500-pound base lift capacity, at least 1,000-pound capacity at 19 feet, a minimum 20-foot lift height, 90-degree angle stacking, operation within a maximum seven-foot aisle, a minimum 48-inch pallet depth, a minimum 59-inch carriage width, a mast of at least 188 inches, and power steering. The purchase must include delivery, a minimum one-year warranty, and an extended warranty and maintenance agreement covering parts and labor for at least three years, including the battery, electric drive motor, electrical and hydraulic systems, and differential/drive axles. Training for up to five people must also be included. Award is intended for the lowest overall total cost among bids meeting the specifications. Delivery is required within 60 working days after receipt of a purchase order or notice to proceed.
