Description
Preston County Board of Education is seeking vendors to plow and/or salt designated parking lots at nine schools and administrative facilities, either by individual site or through an overall award. Services will be performed as requested by the district’s designated representatives, with vendors expected to address identified issues and priority situations. The district may award work on a per-site basis or make one overall award based on pricing, operational efficiency, administrative simplicity, and overall value. The contract is expected to begin after Board approval and contract signing and continue approximately through the end of March 2027, with an option to extend into spring 2027 if needed. Vendors must provide $1,000,000 in liability insurance and workers’ compensation coverage, report property damage or employee injuries within 24 hours, and assume responsibility for damage or injuries caused by their employees. Bidders must submit the standardized bid sheet and the documents identified in Vendor Requirement Checklists A and B, including required affidavits, registrations, a W-9, insurance certificate, and drug-free workplace affidavit.
