Description
West Virginia University is soliciting a qualified audio-visual systems integrator to provide turnkey design-assist, procurement, furnishing, installation, programming, testing, commissioning, training, documentation, technical support, and warranty services for the West Tower project at Milan Puskar Stadium. The scope includes sound systems, speakers and pendant loudspeakers, amplifiers, video display screens and televisions, audio-visual control systems, cabling, IPTV-connected displays, broadcast and communications systems, digital signage, presentation connectivity, and related infrastructure across premium suites, club areas, press and broadcast facilities, operations spaces, and the command post. The selected contractor must coordinate with the university, architect, construction manager, technology, security, broadcast, and other project stakeholders; develop design and construction documentation, equipment schedules, rack elevations, riser and signal-flow diagrams, network architecture, shop drawings, BIM/Revit models when required, and as-built records; and perform field verification, installation, integration, testing, commissioning, cleanup, and owner training. The proposal must address company and team qualifications, three to five similar projects completed within the last 10 years, project approach, schedule, and fees. WVU identifies an AV systems budget of $1,250,000. The contractor must provide a one-year onsite warranty with 24-hour response, 48-hour repair or replacement return service, spare components for major systems, and one year of content-development and technical support.
