Description
Amtrak is seeking Letters of Interest and Qualifications from contractors for the River to River Rail Resiliency project. The construction scope includes installing deployable flood barriers at two First Avenue Ventilation Structures and permanent generators at each of those structures and at the LIC Ventilation Structure. The work is intended to reduce floodwater damage, minimize post-flood downtime, and preserve tunnel operations during storms. Responses must include Amtrak Contractor Qualification Form 59 and qualification information covering the firm or joint-venture team, authorized representative, project management and site personnel, successful construction experience during the past 10 years, coordination with multiple agencies, available resources, and experience completing work in fully operational and occupied facilities. The Letter of Interest is limited to 20 one-sided typed pages and will be used to develop a shortlist for a forthcoming Request for Proposal.
