The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is preparing plans and specifications for Rockaway Contract 3, a construction project in Queens, New York. The base work includes nine elevated timber pedestrian crossover structures providing ADA access to the beach at specified Rockaway street locations, with truss decks spanning approximately 44 feet over the dune crest and landward and seaward ramps of varying lengths.
