Description
The New York State Office of Children & Family Services is seeking eligible New York City libraries, public library systems, nonprofit organizations, and school districts to serve as Local Program Partners for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. Selected organizations will enroll children within their coverage areas and provide one high-quality, age-appropriate book per month, free of charge, to registered children from birth through age five. Individual grants range from $2,000 to $50,000, with approximately $395,000 available overall. Grants may fund up to 50% of eligible wholesale book and mailing costs, and applicants must provide dollar-for-dollar matching funds. Applicants must submit the required application materials, have or obtain a Memorandum of Agreement with the Dollywood Foundation, and meet applicable New York State registration and prequalification requirements. The anticipated contract term is up to one year, beginning no earlier than November 1, 2026, and no later than February 28, 2027.
