Description
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is seeking qualified firms to provide expert professional Tenant Alteration Application code review services on a task-order basis over a four-year term. Services include reviewing drawings, specifications, reports, and other construction documents for compliance with applicable New York City, New York State, and New Jersey construction, fire, energy, mechanical, plumbing, fuel gas, rehabilitation, elevator, and related codes; coordinating technical-discipline comments; preparing memoranda; and attending meetings with tenant consultants to resolve code matters. Proposed staff must meet specified New York or New Jersey professional licensing requirements and demonstrate relevant code-review experience. The work is expected to be performed at Authority facilities, with proposed staff physically working in the Authority office at least three days per week and remotely two days per week unless otherwise directed. Proposals must use the Authority-provided template and forms, address staff and firm qualifications, provide a participation plan, submit cost and salary information, and include a conflict-of-interest statement.
