Description
The New York City Housing Authority is soliciting an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract for annual inspection, cleaning, disinfection, and sampling of gravity roof tanks at developments throughout New York City. Each tank must be inspected, cleaned, disinfected, and sampled for E. coli and total coliform at least annually during each contract year; additional cleanings and sampling may be performed. Work must comply with applicable New York City, New York State, federal, drinking-water, plumbing, construction, industry, and OSHA requirements. The contract term is three years from the award date on NYCHA's purchase order, with up to two one-year renewal options. Bid security is required at 100% of the contract minimum, and payment and performance bonds are each required at 100% of the minimum. The bidder and each subcontractor must be registered with the New York State Department of Labor under Labor Law Section 220-i. A Section 3 Resident Economic Opportunity and/or Other Economic Opportunity Plan must be submitted separately through eComply; the bid must be submitted electronically through NYCHA iSupplier, and paper bids are not accepted.
