Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business to provide labor, materials, equipment, supervision, testing, transportation, disposal handling, and documentation for two glycol heating loops serving the Surgery and Microbiology departments at the Omaha VA Medical Center. The work includes sampling and draining existing fluid, calculating system volume, flushing with deionized water, cleaning strainers and the feeder tank, refilling with 30% inhibited propylene glycol, testing concentration, and transporting glycol totes for disposal. Lockout/tagout and VA medical-center safety requirements apply. The contractor must provide pre-flush sampling, system-volume calculations, flush-cycle documentation, a final system-condition report, refractometer readings, and disposal manifests. Two substantially identical service events are required during the 12-month period of performance, with the initial service within 30 calendar days after award and the second approximately 12 months after completion of the initial service. The quotation must include separate technical and past-performance volumes, pricing, signed solicitation documents and applicable certifications, and narratives addressing technical approach, staffing, Service Contract Labor Standards, and limitations on subcontracting.
