Description
The City of Omaha is seeking bids from qualified contractors for renovation of the Levi Carter Park parking lot at 3666 Abbott Drive. Base work includes removing and replacing deteriorated asphalt pavement, striping parking stalls, traffic control, hauling, disposal, labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals. Additive alternates cover asphalt parking lot and entrance work at the Levi Carter Boat Ramp at 5155 North 12th Street East and Levi Carter Park at 4405 Carter Lake Shore Drive. Bidders must submit electronic bids and required response attachments through the Douglas County Purchasing IonWave system. Required submission items include bid security, a Certificate of Insurance, the Responsible Contractor Compliance Form, Employee Classification Act affidavit, Certificate of Compliance, SEB Participation Disclosure Form, and either an Annual Economic Sustainability Program plan or approved certificate. The project has a 5% bid-security requirement for bids of $50,000 or more, requires performance, payment, and warranty bonds after award, and must be completed by May 1, 2027.
