Description
The City of Omaha is seeking a contractor to remodel the Traffic Maintenance Building. The scope includes remodeling the locker room and break room; removing an existing shower to create an additional restroom stall with a water closet, urinal, and lavatory; reconfiguring the locker room passageway for accessibility; and upgrading interior finishes, lighting, ceilings, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. An additive alternate covers new finishes in Hall 001. Bidders must provide a Class A or B City of Omaha General Contractor's License. The project has a 10 percent SEB reserve for Emerging Small Business and Small Business Tier I and Tier II categories, calculated against the total base bid, and requires the Exhibit A participation disclosure. A bid bond or acceptable substitute equal to 5 percent of the maximum bid price, including alternates, is required when the total bid is $50,000 or more; a copy must be uploaded with the bid and the original must be delivered to the City Clerk within seven calendar days after closing. Performance and payment bonds are required upon award. Bid questions must be submitted through the IonWave Q&A platform.
