Description
The Omaha Housing Authority is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for interior and exterior work at multiple single-family homes in Omaha, organized into five lots. Contractors may bid on one or more lots, with awards made by lot to the lowest total bidder for all locations in that lot. Work addresses lead hazards identified through third-party testing and may include lead-dust and residue cleaning, stabilization and encapsulation or painting of lead-containing materials, complete removal and replacement of lead-containing materials, and general renovation work. Lot 1 is cleaning-only; Lots 2 through 5 also include post-construction cleaning and clearance testing. Contractors must meet State of Nebraska lead-abatement certification requirements because the project's primary purpose is lead-hazard abatement. The anticipated contract execution date is November 20, 2026, and the anticipated contract term is 12 months.
