Description
The Omaha Housing Authority is soliciting bids for snow and ice removal services at multiple multifamily, office, plex, single-family, and tower housing properties in Omaha. The scope includes site visits, plowing with truck-mounted equipment or skid loaders, sidewalk snow removal, shoveling and snow blowing, ice-melt application, and use of road/rock salt. Bidders must account for site hazards such as parking blocks, curbs, and manhole covers, and must provide pricing for each listed location and bid line. The solicitation requires a firm fixed-price response and permits bids for all locations, with award potentially based on vendor capacity and potentially involving multiple contracts. The anticipated initial term is 12 months, with four additional 12-month renewal options for a possible total of five years. The work is subject to applicable Davis-Bacon, Section 3, Build America, Buy America, licensing, insurance, and reporting requirements. Required submission materials include the OHA Profile of Firm Form, HUD Form 2992, HUD Form 5369-A, a proposed subcontractors/joint venture form, a notarized Employee Classification and Non-Collusion Affidavit, a letter of interest, an equal employment opportunity and supplier diversity statement, and applicable supporting information.
