Description
The City of Omaha is seeking a contractor under a single prime contract to renovate Lake James Park. Work includes removing and replacing playground equipment and surfacing; installing poured-in-place rubber safety surfacing and playground drainage; replacing benches, picnic tables, bicycle racks, and trash receptacles; replacing concrete walks, the basketball court, and two basketball goals; and performing earthwork, storm drainage, pavement markings, fine grading, seeding, erosion control, and related site restoration. The owner will furnish two musical play equipment units for installation. Bidders must submit the electronic bid form and required response materials, including bid security, the Responsible Contractor Compliance Form (RC-1), Certificate of Insurance, Employee Classification Act affidavit, Certificate of Compliance, and SEB Participation Disclosure Form. The project includes a 10% Small and Emerging Small Business reserve applicable to any trade or combination of trades. Performance, payment, and warranty bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract price, are required after award. All work must be completed by June 30, 2027, subject to adjustment if the Notice to Proceed is issued later than anticipated.
