Description
Lennar Homes is soliciting bids for lump-sum construction of sewer and storm drain improvements associated with Tract 20712 in Fontana, California. The scope includes installation of approximately 2,339 linear feet of public sewer improvements, 2,439 square feet of related work, sewer laterals, manholes, concrete encasements, trench repair and backfill, and connections to existing facilities. Storm drain work includes approximately 1,783 linear feet of 36-inch reinforced concrete pipe, 694 linear feet of 30-inch pipe, 32 linear feet of 24-inch pipe, junction structures, manholes, catch basins, trench-cut street repairs, and connections to existing drainage facilities. The contractor must provide traffic control, excavation, shoring, dewatering as applicable, compaction, dust and erosion control, cleanup, utility coordination, testing, agency approvals, record drawings, and all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary for a complete installation. A California Class A or C-34 contractor's license, California public-works registration, prevailing-wage compliance, certified payroll, and a 110-working-day completion period after notice to proceed are required. The bid package requires a 10% bid bond, 100% performance and payment bonds, and a 10% warranty bond.
