Description
Midland Independent School District is seeking a contractor to provide and install 16 ductless mini-split air-conditioning systems serving telecom rooms across nine campuses. The work is turnkey and includes all materials, freight, equipment, labor, electrical power and disconnects, panel access, conduits, conductors, supports, roof penetrations and waterproofing, refrigerant piping, condensate drainage or pumping, controls, and related accessories. The systems must include wall-mounted indoor units, roof-mounted outdoor condensing units, wireless controllers, washable filters, and efficiency meeting ASHRAE 90.1. The contractor must coordinate work in occupied school facilities, obtain owner approval of indoor and outdoor mounting locations, demonstrate operation and maintenance, and provide written manufacturer operation and maintenance manuals. Addendum 2 changes the scope and adds a 1.5-ton unit at Henderson Elementary while revising several closet locations and unit requirements.
