Description
The City of Denton is seeking qualifications from one firm to provide as-needed surveying, platting, permitting, and civil engineering services supporting Denton Municipal Electric capital improvement projects. The scope includes construction staking; field design, topographic, boundary, and as-built surveys; easement and right-of-way exhibits; subsurface utility engineering; feasibility studies; route planning; site, grading, drainage, structural, landscaping, irrigation, water, sewer, and underground transmission-line design; permit processing; preparation of specifications and requests for proposals; construction oversight and inspection; project management; and representation at public or official meetings. Survey work must be supervised and sealed by a Texas-licensed Registered Professional Land Surveyor, and the firm must have a Texas-registered professional engineer on staff to stamp reports. The selected firm will provide qualifications, team experience, evidence of capability, ten relevant projects completed within the past three years, and three references. The contract will be for an initial three-year term with two one-year renewal periods, with compensation negotiated after selection based on standard hourly rates and other agreed pricing. Required submission materials include a statement of qualifications, Conflict of Interest Questionnaire, invoice example, proof of Texas Secretary of State registration or exemption, and the required electronic or hard-copy submission components. The incoming legal advertisement confirms that submissions are accepted only through IONWAVE or by hard copy, with no email submissions, and that questions must be submitted through IONWAVE only.
