Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting a service-disabled veteran-owned small business to provide comprehensive housekeeping services at the Fisher House associated with the VA North Texas Healthcare System. The contractor must provide supervision, labor, transportation, equipment, cleaning materials, disinfectants, personal protective equipment, restroom and guest supplies, trash bags, and other items necessary to maintain approximately 16,800 square feet across two buildings. Services include daily coverage seven days per week, high-touch surface cleaning and disinfection, floor and carpet care, restroom and kitchen cleaning, trash removal, window and furniture cleaning, supply restocking, guest-room turnover, linen collection and inventory, and periodic deep-cleaning tasks. The contractor must maintain trained, assigned personnel, provide quality-control procedures, comply with CDC, EPA, OSHA, ANSI, and VA requirements, and ensure employees pass required background checks. The contract is firm-fixed-price with a one-year base period and four one-year option periods, with pricing requested by line item.
