Description
The City of Houston Fleet Management Department is soliciting bids for maintenance and repair of fuel dispensers, automated fuel systems, and associated underground and aboveground storage-tank equipment at numerous City locations. The contractor must provide supervision, labor, replacement parts, equipment, liquid and sludge removal, on-site diagnostics, and repair services. Work includes support for the City's Automated MultiForce Fuel System, use of OEM or OEM-equivalent parts, and service tickets and status reporting. The contractor must be registered with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality as an Underground Storage Tank Contractor, hold Class A and B on-site supervisor licenses, be registered as an LPST Corrective Action Specialist, maintain OSHA certification, and be factory-trained and certified by MultiForce Systems. Standard service requires response within 24 hours and completion within 48 hours; emergency service requires response within two hours and completion within 24 hours. The solicitation is for a three-year award with two one-year options, includes WBE and SBE participation goals, and permits subcontracting for specialized work with City consent.
