Description
The City of Roseville is soliciting construction services for the Dry Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant Primary Sedimentation Basin Rehabilitation Project. The project will rehabilitate the 220-foot-long, four-train primary sedimentation basin to extend service life, restore watertightness, mitigate corrosion and structural degradation, and reduce the risk of unplanned failures. Addendum Two clarifies that the full collector system and all miscellaneous metal and non-metal components internal to all four basins are to be replaced, including flights, chains, sprockets, brackets, supports, shafts, effluent launders, guide rails, deflector rails, wear shoes, wall bearings, helical skimmers, drive assemblies, plates, and troughs. PVC wall liner, gates, and sludge-pit piping are excluded; drives and motors may be replaced only with justification. The work also includes resealing the existing expansion joint, water testing, leak identification, concrete and exposed-reinforcing repairs, crack injection, concrete resurfacing, and other City-directed structural rehabilitation funded through an allowance. The City will isolate, drain, and hose down each basin before turnover, while the contractor must coordinate outages, provide field quality control, engineering and manufacturer submittals, and furnish field service support. All component types, materials, and manufacturers may be proposed, and the previously included Parts Quotation attachment has been omitted. A signed acknowledgment of Addendum Two must be submitted with the proposal.
