Description
This Sources Sought notice is for market research only and will not result in a contract award. The government is seeking qualified sources capable of supporting the full lifecycle of Defense Meteorological Satellite Program sensor data and related sustainment activities through the program’s projected end of life in September 2028. The requested capabilities include ingesting, processing, decommutating, deinterleaving, and geolocating raw sensor data; generating environmental and geophysical products; calibrating and validating instruments; archiving and disseminating data; troubleshooting sensor performance; supporting transition and decommissioning of legacy satellite systems; managing logistics, warehousing, and supply-chain activities for aging components; operating hardware-in-the-loop integration laboratories and software testbeds; maintaining technical data and documentation; providing training; and coordinating with the spacecraft sustainment contractor. Respondents must submit a capability statement addressing company information, relevant technical capabilities, classified-work experience, cross-contractor coordination, and at least two similar past-performance examples from the last five years. Responses are limited to 15 pages, must use 8.5-by-11-inch pages and at least 12-point font, and should identify proprietary information when applicable.
