Description
The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources is seeking a contractor to treat 54 acres at Willow Creek Wildlife Management Area by mowing sagebrush, greasewood, and rabbitbrush up to six feet high while applying herbicide to the cut stumps in the same operation. The contractor must provide a wet mower mounted on a Bobcat, tractor, or skid steer; qualified operators; labor; transportation; water; mixing equipment; supplies; and Tordon 22K or an equivalent herbicide. Equipment must be cleaned before entering and leaving the site, and the contractor must prevent damage to roads, trails, cultural resources, and public access. Bidders must have at least one year of experience using skid-steer- or tractor-mounted wet mowers for this type of vegetation removal and herbicide application, and must provide the make, model, and horsepower of the equipment proposed. The contractor must hold a current Commercial Pesticide Applicator license issued by Utah. Work must be completed during the October 5–31, 2026 performance window, subject to weather and state direction. Pricing is per acre and must include all labor, equipment, materials, mobilization, and operating costs.
