Description
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is soliciting bids for labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, and incidentals required to remove and chemically treat buckthorn, honeysuckle, Oriental bittersweet, multiflora rose, Japanese barberry, and box elder across approximately 35 acres within Schueler Wildlife Management Area. Work includes basal herbicide application and/or cut-stump herbicide application, with hand mechanical cutting using brush saws and chainsaws; brush mowing is not permitted. The award will be made to the lowest responsible vendor meeting the specifications and all terms and conditions. Unit pricing must include all costs necessary to complete the project, including labor, materials, tools, transportation, equipment, and applicable taxes. The event contains two mandatory bid items: Job 1 and Job 2, each covering 35 acres and requiring a price per acre.
