Description
Solano County is soliciting bids for a firm-fixed-price, three-year weed abatement contract covering seven County properties. Services must be performed three times annually at each location and include discing, mowing, herbicide application, hand trimming, vegetation removal, fuel reduction, and removal, chipping, or safe dispersal of cut vegetation. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, and materials; comply with applicable fire codes, local ordinances, and vegetation-abatement standards; maintain required clearance around structures and access routes; and use personnel holding a current California Department of Pesticide Regulation Qualified Applicator Certificate or License for herbicide or pesticide applications. The initial term runs from October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2029, with two possible one-year extensions. Bids must include the required electronic responses, references, certifications, vendor application, and other requested documentation.
