Description
The Deseret Public Infrastructure District is requesting proposals for a turnkey public-works project to drill, complete, develop, test, and deliver a functioning 16-inch cased municipal drinking-water production well approximately 1,000 feet deep. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, project management, materials, equipment, transportation, utility coordination, permits and fees, testing, restoration, and incidental work required for completion. The scope includes site preparation and mobilization; installation of conductor and permanent casing, well screen, gravel pack, sanitary seals, and grout; geophysical logging; well development; pumping and aquifer testing; water-quality sampling and laboratory testing; disinfection; lawful management or disposal of drilling fluids and pumped water; temporary testing equipment; preparation of drilling logs and test reports; restoration; and final cleanup. Proposals must include the listed qualifications, bid schedule, relevant experience, project team, technical approach, project schedule, references, required certifications, billing example, and draw schedule. The work must be completed within 120 days, and the contract will be based on unit prices for the work actually constructed.
