Description
The State of Utah is seeking artificial fish habitat trees and shrubs for young-of-the-year fish at Pineview Reservoir. The agency may order up to 400 larger structures and up to 500 smaller structures, depending on unit pricing. Structures must include integral anchors for negative buoyancy, require minimal assembly, provide specified habitat-element counts and surface areas, use decay-resistant material suitable for algae growth, and have generally snag-resistant limbs. Products equivalent to the referenced Pond King Tree and Pond King Shrub are acceptable. The scope calls for placing approximately 1,250 structures in Pineview Reservoir during winter or after ice-off in 2026 and 2027. The stated project budget is $250,000. Quotes must comply with the specifications, and alternate or multiple quotes will not be accepted. The online submission requires a mandatory capability certification, completion of an online bid table, vendor information and certifications, and conditional explanatory documentation if the vendor answers yes to specified debarment, conflict, tax-lien, or responsiveness questions.
