Description
The City of Corning is soliciting a contractor to provide weed and grass control services at designated City properties under a three-year contract. The scope includes an initial treatment after award, bi-weekly applications or additional treatments as needed, and year-round use of pre-emergent and post-emergent herbicides, including diuron or an equivalent and Amino Triazole. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, transportation, insurance, bonds, and incidentals. Services cover public works, airport, wastewater treatment, parks, well sites, drainage areas, sidewalks, alleys, rights-of-way, hydrants, and other specified municipal locations. The contractor must be appropriately licensed in California, maintain a City of Corning business license, and hold the specified qualified applicator categories throughout the contract. Prevailing wage requirements apply, and puncture-vine treatment is required in June and July at designated locations.
