Description
The State of Utah Division of Purchasing is establishing an open-ended, approved vendor list for rangeland services. Eligible treatment categories include mastication (bullhog), lop and scatter, chaining, harrowing, cut and pile, cut and chip, tamarisk or Russian olive removal, and drill seeding. Applicants may select the treatment and acreage categories for which they seek prequalification and must demonstrate the required personnel, equipment, safety practices, licenses, and ability to perform the work. Specific projects will be solicited separately through quotation or bid processes, and a detailed statement of work will be provided for each project. The response must include an executive summary, a detailed technical response, a completed reference experience form covering relevant projects completed within the past five years, selected equipment and repair plans, safety and emergency-response information, employee and key-personnel resumes, applicable licenses or certifications, and the completed rangeland job-category and size form. The detailed response is limited to 25 pages, with a separate two-page executive summary. A minimum evaluation score of 70 is required for prequalification in each selected category. Approved vendors are prequalified for 12 months and must resubmit qualifications for renewal; vendors with prior Utah performance reviews must have an average score of at least 60 to respond.
