Description
The USDA Forest Service is soliciting quotes for the Kent's Lake Campground Reconstruction Project under the Great American Outdoors Act. The work includes demolition of existing structures; installation of new concrete features; upgrades to family and tent campsites; water and sewer improvements; roadway, drainage, rock, and retaining-wall construction; fencing and gates; signage; and site restoration through grading, surfacing, and seeding. The project is intended to improve visitor safety, accessibility, resource protection, and campground functionality while preserving the forest's natural character. Amendment 0003 posts final RFI questions and answers, a site-visit sign-in sheet, removes the composite wood fence specification, makes utility tables contractor-furnished, and extends the quote deadline to October 15, 2026. Amendment 0003 must be acknowledged and submitted with the proposal. The contract remains a firm-fixed-price construction project with a 150-calendar-day base period and 45 additional calendar days for optional items.
