Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting quotations for integrated pest management services at the Aleda E. Lutz Medical Center in Saginaw, Michigan. The contractor must provide supervision, labor, equipment, supplies, pesticides, transportation, inspections, monitoring, trapping and removal, corrective actions, reporting, and an approved IPM plan covering the medical center campus and listed buildings. Services address structural, flying, stored-product, public-health, rodent, bird, vertebrate, aquatic, and wood-destroying pests, including bed bug and other remediation as needed. Routine service is scheduled weekly, with additional inspections for food-service, sensitive, patient-treatment, exterior, and mechanical areas. The contractor must provide emergency response within two hours and non-emergency response within eight hours, maintain monitoring-device maps and logbooks, submit service reports, quarterly reports, and annual trend reports, and comply with federal and Michigan licensing, pesticide, environmental, healthcare, and safety requirements. The anticipated contract is an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity firm-fixed-price arrangement with a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods; the guaranteed minimum is $40,000 and the maximum total value is $280,000.
