Description
Richland-Lexington Riverbanks Parks District, doing business as Riverbanks Zoo & Garden, is soliciting lawn maintenance services for its East and West Campus locations. Work includes recurring mowing, edging, weed eating, brush cutting, maintaining turf and bed edges, shrub and tree tidying, and spraying designated parking lots, sidewalks, gravel areas, and areas along buildings. Any chemicals used on site require owner pre-approval, and the contractor must provide all labor, materials, and equipment. The contract term is two years, with up to three additional one-year renewals subject to vendor acceptance, satisfactory performance, and the District's determination that renewal is advantageous. Bidders must provide commercial customer references, a designated point of contact, one hard copy and one digital copy, the completed bidder's schedule, the Certificate of Familiarity, and the required reference list. The District requires specified insurance coverage, including statutory workers' compensation, $1,000,000 comprehensive general liability, and $100,000 automobile liability. The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder or bidders.
