Description
The Cherokee Nation is soliciting sealed bids from qualified general contractors to provide all labor, quality control, materials, supplies, supervision, and subcontracting necessary for complete construction of the Oak Hill–Piney Community Building. The bid package includes a base bid and three alternates for a sports court, surrounding sidewalk and fence, playground and equipment, and remaining sidewalk and landscaping. Bidders must state their calendar days to complete the project. The submission must include the completed preparation outline, bid form, base bid form, non-collusive affidavit, previous work history form documenting at least three years of work history, Indian-preference employment and training statement, Indian-preference subcontracting statement, and a bid bond equal to 5% of the grand total bid. TERO certification proof is required if claiming Indian preference. The successful contractor must provide 100% performance and payment bonds, required insurance, and comply with applicable wage, TERO, environmental, safety, warranty, and drug-free/tobacco-free workplace requirements. A mandatory site visit is required, with an alternate opportunity available by arrangement for firms unable to attend the primary visit.
