Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs VA Northern Indiana Healthcare System requires two replacement air compressors for the Boiler Plant at the Marion VA Medical Center. Each compressor must meet the stated minimum requirements of 5 horsepower, 135 PSI, and 14.27 CFM, and the contractor must provide two startup kits. The work includes delivery, sequential removal and proper disposal of the existing compressors, installation of the new units with all required electrical, mechanical, and control connections, startup, operational testing, calibration, verification, and documentation. The contractor must complete three line items—compressors, installation, and startup—within 60 days after receipt of order. The updated RFQ removes manufacturer-specific requirements, limitations-on-subcontracting requirements, the prior period of performance, and any bond, prevailing-wage, or special-insurance requirements. Payment will be made after delivery, installation, and acceptance; progress payments are not authorized.
