Description
The City of Marion is seeking statements of qualifications from architectural and engineering firms for professional services supporting the proposed Marion Municipal Airport Aeronautical Innovation Center Project. Requested services include preparation of an environmental narrative, a preliminary engineering report, final design, construction engineering, and inspection services. The environmental narrative and preliminary engineering report may be contracted initially to support an Economic Development Administration application. Final design and construction engineering and inspection services are contingent on grant award, confirmation of local matching funds, satisfaction of applicable requirements, and written authorization to proceed. This is a qualifications-based procurement; price will not be used as a selection factor, and the highest-ranked firm will be invited to negotiate fair and reasonable compensation. This solicitation is not for construction bids or construction contractor services.
