Description
Hancock County Public Library is soliciting proposals for approximately three cellular data plans, air cards, or hotspot devices providing wireless internet service for its bookmobiles and mobile outreach programs. The requested service must support approximately 1 Mbps to 100 Mbps, with bursts up to 100 Mbps, and may be used by key library staff for mobile book check-in, check-out, and library-card registration activities. Proposals must separately identify monthly recurring costs and any distinct maintenance or insurance costs, distinguish E-Rate-eligible from ineligible costs, provide available annual, multi-year, and month-to-month terms, and identify extension terms and pricing. The vendor must provide its E-Rate Service Provider Identification Number (SPIN). Price is the primary evaluation factor, although the library may select the best-qualified vendor. Open-ended or automatically renewing terms are not acceptable, and the contract is contingent on E-Rate funding and an applicant-issued notice to proceed.
