Description
Shenandoah School Corporation is soliciting Internet access and data transmission services bundled with transport. The requested service is symmetrical bandwidth of approximately 3 Gbps, scalable to approximately 5 Gbps, with guaranteed throughput to the applicant’s head-end at Shenandoah High School. Proposals should include laddered pricing in 1 Gbps increments, approximately 14 public IPv4 addresses, optional IPv6 pricing, provider-owned equipment needed for the handoff, a proposed fiber-optic handoff, and a description of the pathway from the provider’s point of presence to the applicant’s point of entry, including any third-party leased lines. Respondents must describe optional resiliency, basic firewall, and DDoS protection features; provide a proposed SLA covering service descriptions, measurement methods, 99.99% network availability efforts, packet loss, latency, jitter, 24x7x365 trouble reporting, outage repair commitments, chronic-trouble remedies, and monthly and annual service reports. The minimum stated commitment is two-hour diagnosis and four-hour temporary or permanent repair. Proposals must separately identify recurring, nonrecurring, installation, and special-construction costs; distinguish eligible and ineligible services; provide a detailed implementation timeline demonstrating service delivery by July 1, 2027; include three similar-service reference sites, the provider’s E-Rate SPIN number, and a ready-to-execute or sample contract. The contract is contingent on E-Rate funding and an applicant-issued Notice to Proceed. The applicant seeks a three- or five-year term, with any extensions and pricing clearly stated; open-ended, automatically renewing, and evergreen terms are unacceptable.
