Description
Mississinewa Community School Corporation is soliciting proposals for symmetrical Internet access at approximately 3 Gbps, scalable to approximately 5 Gbps, with guaranteed throughput to its head-end at Mississinewa High School. The service must include a fiber handoff, approximately 64 public IPv4 addresses, and any provider-owned onsite equipment necessary to connect to the applicant’s head-end equipment. Respondents may also provide optional IPv6 pricing and describe resiliency, basic firewall, and DDoS protection features. Proposals must include laddered pricing in approximately 1 Gbps increments, separate recurring and nonrecurring costs, a proposed Service Level Agreement, service descriptions and implementation timelines, three similar-service references, the provider’s E-Rate SPIN number, and a ready-to-execute or sample contract incorporating the stated E-Rate contingencies. The SLA must address 99.99% network availability, packet loss, latency, jitter, 24x7x365 trouble reporting, service restoration, chronic trouble, and monthly and annual service reporting. The requested initial service term is three years, with up to two optional one-year extensions.
