Description
Seattle Public Schools is conducting market research for commercially available K-12 payment solutions that could support student fees, activity payments, donations, fines, merchandise, tickets, and other district-approved transactions. The District is interested in online and in-person payment capabilities, including credit cards, debit cards, ACH/eCheck, cash, and checks; refunds, voids, adjustments, payment tracking, settlement, reconciliation, cash and check workflows, reporting, audit trails, and financial controls. Respondents are asked to describe integrations with student information, financial, library, asset-management, point-of-sale, and other enterprise systems, including PowerSchool and Follett Destiny; API and synchronization capabilities; security, PCI DSS and FERPA compliance; SSO, MFA, accessibility, implementation, training, customer support, service levels, pricing, and fees. This RFI is for planning and requirements development only and does not obligate the District to issue a future procurement or award a contract.
