Description
King Conservation District is seeking a qualified organization, firm, or team to serve as the Regional Coordinating Organization for a regional Farm-to-Community Collaborative in King County. The selected contractor will provide strategic leadership, stakeholder coordination, partnership development, resource development, technical assistance, project management, and evaluation support to strengthen and expand purchasing relationships between King County farmers and hunger relief and community food organizations. The scope includes leading the collaborative; expanding and diversifying investment in Farm-to-Community purchasing; providing technical assistance, training, shared tools, and peer learning; and developing shared performance measures, data systems, a regional dashboard, and an annual State of Farm-to-Community Report. The initial proposal must cover no more than one year, with awards potentially renewable for up to five consecutive years at the district's discretion. Initial funding is up to $200,000, with a minimum of $150,000 per year in consecutive years. Proposals must include application responses covering organizational background, relevant experience, King County system knowledge, collaborative leadership, sustainable investment, capacity building, measurement and evaluation, project team and roles, and three professional references. Required uploads include the work plan table and completed budget table; the budget must include a brief narrative and the requested amount may not exceed $200,000.
