Description
King County is soliciting bids for as-needed graphic decal design, printing, installation, and removal services for the King County Sheriff's Office fleet. The contractor will produce and install graphics for new and repair-related vehicle work, remove existing vinyl graphics, perform surface preparation, and transport the graphics to the County's fleet shop locations for installation. Approximately 100 new vehicle orders per year are anticipated, although quantities are not guaranteed and no minimum order quantities or trip charges apply. The County expects to award to a single contractor and prohibits subcontracting any portion of the work. Installations occur during business hours at the Renton and Georgetown fleet shops, with approximately 85% of recent work performed at Georgetown. New work is generally required within 15 days after receipt of an order, while accident-repair installations are expected within five days. The contract term is five years, and annual price adjustments may be considered under the draft contract.
